Struggling to find the best goalkeeper for GW4 Wildcard? Here are a few option for your early GW4 Wildcard Draft!

The criteria we use

The no.1 factor that we consider for our GW4 Wildcard goalkeeper is minutes secured! A nailed-on goalkeeper will provide the consistent amount of points for the long period. You don’t want to burn a free transfer for your benched GKP at any time in the season.

Clean sheet odd and save points potential are also important. The goalkeepers who playing for an on-form defense should be the priority. You can choose your defense to back by analyze the data of GC, xGC or even possession, defense-line position… Save points and bonus points, in my opinion, are just the add-on.

Decent fixtures is also a factor to think about! Although, we all know that GKP is a long-term pick, a goalkeeper who can instantly pay off your investment from his great run of fixtures always the play to make. Especially for anyone who plays the rotation GKP strategy, fixture should be one of the most influenced factor to consider!

Assets to consider

According to our experts, here are the 3 best GPK to keep an eye on for GW4 Wildcard.

Sels: Best GKP for GW4 Wildcard

Surprisingly, Forest is one of the best defense in the whole league in terms of xGC. Sels claimed a few saves for himself and kept 1 CS, only conceded twice in the last 3 games. GW4 is a tough challenge facing Liverpool away but the upcoming fixtures are phenomenal for him. What an asset for only 1.8% ownership!

Verbruggen

The Nedherland no.1 goalkeeper is back after a memorable Euro journey. After being benched in the first 2 GW due to the physical problems, Verbruggen came back strongly with 6 saves against the former runner-up Arsenal and ended up with a decent 4 points in the GW that has only 1 CS in 10 matches! The easier matchups in GW4 and 5 are the opportunity for Verbruggen to step up as one of the most valuable GW4 Wildcard goalkeepers. A few bad matchups from GW6 will not a big deal as Verbruggen rotate well with Flekken, Henderson and some other 4.5m goalkeepers.

Henderson: A keep in GW4 Wildcard

Palace was such a disappointment in the first couple GW but Deanny seems to bouncing back currently. 6 saves against Chelsea make him one of the highest scoring GKP in GW3. Playing against Leicester – the worst xG creator in the league – in GW4 will be such a matchup for the English goalkeeper. I might still consider to keep him in my GW4 Wildcard draft.
