LOCKED FPL LINEUP FOR GW1
DFantasy experts have locked FPL lineup for GW1! With a great form template team, our experts still able to sneaked in a great amount of differential that look really promising. Take a look and feel free to copy our team and win your mini-league rewards.
GK: Pope
If it’s a whole season draft, Henderson is no doubt the best GKP asset in the game with that 0.5m advantage but as it’s only the GW1 lineup, I’d prefer Pope against Southampton. The 2024/25 Newcastle seems to be back on form as one of the best defenses in the league – could be a really nice punt if you can handle the 5.0m price tag.
DEF: Trent – Saliba – Porro
Big at the back seems to be the strategy to go for in GW1 as there are a lot of great value attackers around mid-price. Saliba against the No-Neto-Doubtful-Cunha Wolves is a guaranteed CS for me. Gabriel might have slightly more attacking threat but with Calafiori joined the team and Timber played CB for the whole pre-season, I see some flashbacks of last season’s drama.
Beside the must-have ARS defense, I wanna add some attacking returns in my scoring result this GW so of course I can’t ignore 2 best attacking full-backs last season against two of the weakest defenses in the league: Porro and Trent. No Gvardiol is a bit risky of a move but I just can’t keep an eye off the Leicester and Ipswich fixtures.
MID: Salah – Gordon – Maddison – Bruno
Salah against IPS is absolutely nailed for me, he almost be my captain until I try to be a bit riskier this GW. Jota can be a solid replacement if he start for more than 70 mins but with Nunez, Diaz and Gakpo still there, I don’t see Jote have that much of the minutes.
The newly promoted Southampton is so attractive of a fixture that makes me double-up on Newcastle attack. Gordon outscored Isak last season and being 1.0m cheaper is such a bargain for me.
As I already said in a previous article, Leicester looked like Burnley last season who didn’t know how to defend against big EPL teams. Spurs’ attack will be my priority this GW’s lineup. Son’d be the best option but as I invest a lot on Salah, Maddison is a not-bad replacement. A player who takes the creative role and provides an endless amount of key passes for man like Son, Solanke, Kulusevski, Richarlison, Johnson – whoever scores, Maddi is always behind their goals.
Bruno is a risky punt for early season advantage. I don’t confidently recommend having a United asset in your lineup but if you have faith in new United this season, Bruno is the one to go for: on penalty, 80+ mins for 35+ matches, main creator who often plays as second striker of even the false 9. If United failed, 8.5 for Bruno is a waste but if they find the way to score, it’d be such a gift.
FWD: Isak (C) – Solanke – Havertz
Isak is a no-brainer who takes our armband this weekend: high xG, nailed, great opening fixtures and on penalty – I see no one better than him right now.
Solanke and Havertz are gonna be this season’s wildcards. Nailed as the main striker for the top-tier contender, I bet that they are gonna have at least an above average season with 15+ goals plus some assists. Who say Haaland is undroppable?
Cheap bench
Our bench is cheap this GW but Barco against Everton is still a great cover for any unfortunate injury!
